This Summer Starting in June My dad and I have been hiking around to several waterfalls starting in Utah County. I found a website called http://www.utah.com/hike. It has been so much fun to find hikes around here. Our first was Timponogos Hike, which was up American Fork Canyon. It was 1 mile long. Our second, was Battle Creek Falls in the town of Pleasant Grove. Again it was short and not as spectacular. but fun. The third was Dry Creek Falls up Alpine Canyon. That was close to four miles round trip. That was difficult for me and we had to share the trail with horses. The fourth, was Bell Canyon in Sandy, on Wasatch Blvd. That was again four miles round trip. The fifth, was Donut Falls, up ( Big or Little Cotton Wood Canyon) I can't remember the different between the two. This was short, but we tried running the whole way. The cool part here is that while were were running we saw a moose. He was more afraid of us. He was 30 feet from us. I think out of most of the days it has been cloudy and overcast. That makes for the best hiking days of the summer. I am starting to enjoy it. I love the scenery.
